Hello Classmates, Hope this finds everyone well! I am sending, via an attachment, the Minutes of the last Class Planning Group Meeting - Conference. As with the recent Meetings, there is too much info to cover here. The Scholarship Program is getting feedback from the Class at large. A number of Classmates have sent their assessments. I will make sure the info gets to the interviewers prior to the interviews. In fact, there is a "Special Meeting" of the Planning Group to specifically discuss the Scholarship Application info. That Meeting - Conference will be Tuesday, May 12, 8 PM. Runyan will host the Skype. Please sit in and voice your thoughts. Regarding the Homecoming and Class 60th Birthdays Party, the Planning is really getting enthusiastic. Pregame Meet and Greet, Jump out of "float" / trailer at the game / possibly some singing / maybe a B-B Q / Class sweatshirts / SAturday activity / seated dinner / Cake and Music / '67 Classetera! Also, some good and some not-so-good news "For the Good of the Class". Please check out the attachment for details and support your CLassmates. Next Class Planning Meeting is May 19 (3rd Tuesday) - 8 PM start, Runyan will host the Skype. Best wishes for a very lovely Mother's Day! Wolverine-On! T

Hello Dear Classmates, Hope all well! The Class Scholarship Program is approaching the point of interviews with the student applicants. We have received nine applications. The program committee would like to weigh the opinion of the Class as a whole regarding the selection of award recipients. To facilitate the assembly of the Class' input I will forward the nine applications to you. They will come as forwarded through me from Ken Runyan. Ken picked them up directly from the School. Please, review the applications and rate in priority the top three as you feel should receive a scholarship award. Please, then feedback your ranking, by student name, to me. The Class Planning Group will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday May 12th at 8 PM to discuss your feedback. (Every Classmate is urged to attend the Special Meeting. It will be a Skype conference hosted by Runyan. Please attend, if possible, to comment in person.) To allow for a pre-meeting review of the Class feedback by the Planning Group, your information needs to get to them prior to close of consciousness Sunday evening, May 10th. Therefore, Please get your feedback to me by noon on May 10th. I will assemble your information and provide it to the committee. Thanks in avance for your judgement! Most Valued WHS Alumni and the World's greatest Classmates, Ain't if great to be a "67! The word went out trying to find Jani Bromaghin on a fragment of info and Boom, Whiz, Flash, Bang ***** '67! ***** We got action from our Wolverines across the Country. Gary and Leza Smith had info as well as other C'mates closer to the School. Ain't it great! I almost feel sorry (I said "almost") for those "other" classes. Homecoming and the Birthdays Party are a couple weeks closer. Each Class Planning Meeting gets a little wilder about it. I don't know what they will be like in another month or two. The next Meeting - Conference is this Tuesday, May 5th, at 8 PM. The Skype conference will be hosted by our very own Ken Runyan. Yours truly will try to ride herd on the Group. Please, if you have the time available, join the discussion. The Class will be benefitted by your participation! Hope all well! TT PS - further info and details available on the Class blog at http://www.willitshighclassof67blogspot.com/ Fred updates the blog almost weekly so the latest is on there. And, the Class blog is available to all Classmates for the posting of any item having value to the Class. By the way, Eddie Marlett's dog weighs about 2 2/4 pounds and is named "Bruiser". He and Bruiser will be on the Planning Conference Tuesday night.

Dear '67 Wolverine Classmates, I hope this finds everyone well and happy! It seems everyone I speak with is super busy. Same report here. The Class Planning Group is no different. The Minutes of the last Meeting - Conference (April 21 - 3rd Tuesday) are attached. As they are somewhat lengthy, I will not provide a complete rundown this time. However, they are posted on the blog where you may review them for details. In a nutshell, the Class Scholarship Program is on track. Our interview panel will sit with the Applicants on the weekend of May 16. Bruce and Ken R. are doing the liaison work directly with the School and our interview panel is coming from both home and afar.
The '09 Homecoming and 60th Birthdays Party get-together is gaining momentum. There has been discussion of a "Meet and Greet" with other Classes, the Star Spangled Banner, a Class Float(don't get nervous until you read the details on the blog), maybe a museum tour, and I can't remember what else all. Then there will be the Birthdays Party Saturday. Looks like more over-eating to be followed by cake and music. Oh, The Planning Group would like everyone's feedback regarding Class Sweatshirts. Thinking it might be chilly at the football game and we need an identifying mark, the Group is considering Class Sweatshirts. The leaning is toward 1st quality hooded sweatshirts in dark green with yellow/gold printing of a Class of '67 logo. If a bulk purchase can be made, a below-market price may be had. Please let Fred O (the Blogmaster) or me (the at times long-winded e-mailmaster) know if you have any likes / dislikes re sweatshirts. As of now, nothing has been finalized regarding logos, etc.
The next Class Planning Group Meeting - Conference, which would be enhanced by your participation, will be Tuesday May 5, 8 PM. Contact K. Brown or K. Runyan to get your Skype ready to go. K B - 707-459-4065, K R - 707-354-1864.Again, Hope all well and enjoying the first part of Spring. '67-On!!!!!! T PS - Looks lile Homecoming will be October 16. PPS - Class time capsule to be intered at the School during Homecoming get-together. Get your item together!!! T

You had to pass this building on your way to and from lunch at Billie's and Elmo's.....You could get a foot long hot dog, chips, and a cherry coke for .35 cents at Billie's.....that won't even buy a postage stamp, today.

Great Facebook reminder from Lom......

Hi Everyone:

Since we have a Facebook for the class of 67, I am suggesting all of us should take the time to join the class on Facebook at "Willits High Class of 1967"
and by doing so we can add family and other friends to our own personal face book and then................................let's send out a calling for all those classmates we have not found.

What do you think? Penny Terhurn, Kathy McDonald, Susie Turner, to just name a few. Let's see what we can do with the internet in our search to find those missing.

Blessings, Loma
