CLASS MOTTO

When Ellen reminded me that we didn't have the Class Motto on the Blog, it was only natural that we include it for everyone to remember and enjoy. So here it is...

”Before Us Lies the Timber, Let us Build”

Now, we could just leave it at that, but it hardly seems adequate...so we will enhance it a little bit with some pictograms...So here we go again...with a little accentuation...

Before Us Lies the Timber...

Let us Build...

And build we did....in an elegant, stately, and refined manner.

We especially want to thank Tommy T for allowing us to insert and circulate this photo of his majestic property in Oregon. It was the perfect depiction for this message.

Now, if by some slim chance someone might have “taken in” a false impression from this photo, let's take a quick peek inside each of these little “castles in the forest”...

A few closing thoughts..."May we be slow to judge but quick to compliment"..."There are many good books with lousy covers"... "Our opinion of people depends less upon what we see in them than upon what they make us see in ourselves"...

Only 50 days till our awesome gathering at Huds!!! F

Clark and Louise Tuthill

Hi everyone, Just received this e-mail from Clark Tuthill and wife, sorry they cannot make the reunion, but please read what they wrote.
Marilyn

Hi there, Doesn’t look like we will be able to make this one, but thanks for the invitation. Clark continued to teach and coach high school football at Shasta High School in Redding until his retirement with many, many championships under his belt. He retired from teaching and did land development and building homes for another ten years. Now he is a world class fly fisherman traveling the world! I continued to teach Home Economics and worked with the teen parents programs until retirement. I am now enjoying all the delights that I use to teach about. We have 6 wonderful grandchildren that keep us busy. Please keep us informed. Thanks, Clark and Louise Tuthill cltuts@att.net 530-241-2496

In the local news..."Woman Shoots Herself While Trying to Kill Mice"

Tuesday, July 08, 2008 Associated Press

POTTER VALLEY, Calif. — A Mendocino County woman who was trying to kill mice in her trailer with a gun ended up shooting herself and another person.

The 43-year-old woman pulled out her .44-caliber Magnum revolver after she saw the mice scurrying across the floor of her trailer on Highway 20 in Potter Valley, sheriff's officials said.

But she accidentally dropped the gun, which went off as it struck the floor. The bullet went through the woman's kneecap, bounced off the keys sitting on the belt loop of a 42-year-old man in the trailer and grazed the man's groin before ending up in his coin pocket.

Authorities did not release the shooting victims' names.
The mice escaped the shooting unharmed.

...So come to the "Wild, Wild, West WHS Class of 67 Reunion" where vicious critters still roam the land and brave men and women fight them off with their weapons...and remember...If your woman packs the heat, you better wear plenty of keys on your belt loop...F
