Hello Classmates,
Hope this finds everyone well and dry. It's been raining extremely heavy down here compared to our norm. There have been debris flows coming off of the the San Gabrial Mountains above LA where the big "Station" fire burned. Regarding Class planning, I am attaching the Minutes for the last Meeting - Conference and the Agenda for the next. The next will be this Tuesday, Feb 9th. Start time will be 8:00 PM. Denise Lewis is scheduled to host the Skype conference. Regarding email - I have been mega busy and have been staying up at my daughter's in Long Beach during the week. I was in Vista only a couple hours this weekend and did not get much email answered. Please accept my apology if you have email to me and are waiting for a reply. I had 131 and I am catching as many as I can whenever I get a minute. I swas down to 75 when I started typing the Agenda. Please don't stop sending, I love to hear from everyone and will get caught up on them in the next few days. Hope to hear you at the Meeting - Conference. And, I hope you are snug. New Business
Deputy BLOG Manager position – Tufts, introduced discussion to provide the Class Planning Group with a Deputy BLOG Manger position and recommended duties of position; Group, discussion/decision to provide a Deputy BlOG Manager position; Lewis, D. volunteered to serve as the Class' first Deputy BLOG Manager; Group, discussion; Snider-Herrick, Motion to seat Lewis, D. as the Class' first Deputy BLOG Manager, Marlett, 2nd, Group, discussion and vote (unanimous) in favor of seating Lewis, D. as the Class' first Deputy BLOG Manager, provided duty to assist the BLOG Manager with maintenance of the Class BLOG and to provide update reporting to the Class Planning Group on those occasions where the BLOG Manger is unavailable to report
“For the Good of the Class” - Tufts explained time demands of a new job and thanked Hope for attending and provided insightful information to the Group; Marlett thanked the Group for continuing good work; Snider-Herrick and the Group thanked the Lewis Family for there contribution to the Class and dedicated their thoughts to the Family.
